Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school setting in San Luis Obispo, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing a rewarding chance to work with pediatric students in an educational environment. The role involves managing an elementary caseload across two school sites, with most schedules comprising three days at one site and two days at the other. Candidates will not be required to travel between both sites in a single day, allowing for focused time at each location. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to elementary students Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning Maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Eligibility or experience in the Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Demonstrated experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within school settings Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech therapy services This contract offers a structured schedule within an elementary school environment, providing meaningful impact on student communication development.
