Responsible for the electrical design and development of a variety
of products and systems, focused primarily on motion control
applications. In addition to motion/motor control, design
responsibilities can include power conversion, power
control/management, and a variety of other electronic circuits.
Project assignments can cover full product life cycle, including
requirement derivation, conceptual design, detailed design,
prototyping, integration and test, transition into MFG, and product
sustainment. As a senior engineer, technical leadership roles
expand and can include R&D activities, mentoring and training,
and supporting Business Development and Operations. Duties and

Electrical/electronic design and development for Trust Automation
products and customer specific applications Development of advanced
motion control and power generation/conversion systems Requirement
derivation, schematic and PCB design Design verification through
analysis and test Integration and test of motion control systems,
electrical systems and motors Collaborate with the engineering team
to advance drive/motor efficiencies Participate in Trust
Automation's design and development processes, including design
reviews Contribute to project success by meeting design
requirements on schedule and within budget Assist Program Managers
and Trust VPs with project/program planning, including
specification of system application solutions, task prioritization,
and risk mitigation Assist with customer interaction and perform
product/system demonstrations as needed Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: BS degree in Electrical Engineering 10
years of digital and analog circuit design experience Experience in
power electronics design Experience in schematic capture and PCB
layout (Altium) Experience with electric motors, drive electronics,
and power conversion circuits Experience with
Microcontroller/Microprocessor based systems Experience with
circuit simulation tools (i.e. – PSpice) Capable of technical
leadership Typically 8 years of engineering experience Experience
with electric motors, drive electronics, and power conversion
circuits Experience with Microcontroller/Microprocessor based
systems Experience with circuit simulation tools (i.e. – PSpice)
Practical experience in PCB level component trouble shooting
Practical experience in electrical system level troubleshooting
Experience with closed-loop control of motor torque, speed, and
position experience Control system development experience (i.e. –
PID) preferred Familiarity with system simulation tools (i.e. –
MATLAB, SIMULINK) preferred Familiarity with communication
interfaces/protocols: SPI, I2C, Modbus, USB, CAN, RS232,
RS422/RS485, Ethernet, EtherCAT Ability to work effectively both
independently and in a collaborative team environment Professional
written and verbal communication skills, and excellent
interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and work
effectively with project managers and upper management Physical
Requirements Hearing and speaking to exchange information in
person, on the telephone or virtually. Dexterity of hands, fingers,
and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, or
assemble/manufacture intricate items. Seeing to read a variety of
materials. Sitting or standing for extended period of time.
Physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height. Any
items that weigh more than 50 pounds will require two or more
people or a lifting device to move. Physical agility to lift,
carry, push, or pull objects. Pay/Salary Information Pay scale for
this position - $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually By submitting
