The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive and corrective
maintenance independently, ensuring reliable equipment operation.
This role provides technical support for production teams and
mentors Level 1 technicians. Required Responsibilities Diagnose,
troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic
electrical systems. Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules
with minimal supervision. Support production changeovers, setups,
and calibration activities. Maintain detailed repair records, parts
usage logs, and CMMS documentation. Identify opportunities for
equipment or process improvements. Cross-train and maintain working
knowledge of multiple systems such as Matrix baggers, Yamato
scales, VideoJet printers, conveyors, and wash systems. Required
Skills & Experience Intermediate troubleshooting skills in
mechanical and electrical systems. Basic knowledge of PLCs,
sensors, and VFDs. Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical
schematics. Effective communication and coordination with
production and QC personnel. Advancement Criteria 90% or higher PM
completion rate. Demonstrated ability to lead small projects or
support system upgrades. Proven safety record and ability to mentor
junior staff. Supervisor and planner recommendation for Level 3
