Job Description Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine) - Bakersfield, CA Job type: Full-Time (Onsite) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care or Internal Medicine Physician to join our Bakersfield team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and care for frail elderly patients, within an interdisciplinary team. You will make independent medical decisions while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: · Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage acute and chronic conditions. · Provide preventive care, health promotion, and patient/family education. · Supervise nurse practitioners or physician assistants as needed. · Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in care planning and evaluation. · Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company policies. Qualifications: · MD or DO · Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice . · Minimum 1 year of experience working with geriatric or frail population is required. · California state medical license, DEA registration, CPR/BLS certification required.
