POSITION SUMMARY:The Track and Trace Tech job position will provide support to management in the manufacturing operations to ensure technical compliance with Track-and-Trace protocol as governed by the California Department of Food & Agriculture, California Bureau of Cannabis Control, the California Department of Public Health and any other applicable regulatory agency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee technical compliance with Track-and-Trace protocol as governed by the California Department of Food & Agriculture, California Bureau of Cannabis Control, the California Department of Public Health and any other applicable regulatory agencyAssist Manufacturing operations to ensure proper and effective use and/or data entry to the Track-and-Trace systemProvide regular support to the manufacturing operations to ensure deliverables, constraints, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and adherence to regulatory requirements for tagging and tracking plants. Maintain upkeep of all materials related to the Track-and-Trace system, to include but not limited to regular inventory monitoring, fulfillment processing, etc. Perform regular risk assessments, internal reviews and/or audits and provide periodic reportsCORE COMPENTENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Organizational and planning skills. Ability to coordinate tasks in order of priority, while effectively multi-tasking and maintaining attention-to-detail. EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Required:3+ years of verifiable work experience in the cannabis industry, or related roleAssociate Degree (or higher) in business-related disciplineIntermediate knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office systems (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other MS Tools) and Google SheetsProficiency of the English language, verbal and written formatMust possess and maintain a valid California Driver License, and meet requirements for insurability under the Companys policyMust be 21 years of age (or older) at the time of hireDesired:Knowledge of agriculture, cultivation, farming operationsRegulatory, land use or compliance experience helpfulProficiency of the Spanish language, verbal and written. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Driving a motor vehicle on a private road, commercial road or highway is required. Basic physical and mental requirements and/or functions governed by the applicable state and/or federal regulatory agency for motor vehicle use will apply. Periodic tractor use may be required.
