Job Description:

Description Overview SAIC seeks to support U.S. Space Command Directorate of Intelligence, USSPACECOM J2, in performing critical operational intelligence and related subtasks to support assigned missions. These subtasks include but are not limited to: ? Target development, administration, and automation ? Collection management, planning and assessments ? Analysis and production to develop, refine and execute Indications and Warning (I&W); monitor and report on adversary Operational Readiness & Disposition (OR&D), develop and maintain a Common Intelligence Picture (CIP); and produce other operational and finished intelligence to support CDRUSSPACECOM needs ? Joint intelligence planning to support USSPACECOM future operations, crisis action, and deliberate planning; global integration with other CCMDs; and engagement with allies, other foreign partners, and the commercial sector ? Foreign disclosure to facilitate information sharing and partner integration ? Information technology to support communication, integration, and analysis, to include data visualization, automation, machine learning, and tool development ? Intelligence coordination, liaison, representation, and advocacy with the interagency and the whole of government ? Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) authorities execution ? Personnel security, physical security, and Controlled Access Program (CAP) administration ? Manpower, personnel, financial, and facilities administration ? Tradecraft development and training for space operational intelligence professionals to include analysts, collection managers, planners, etc. and support to the Space Operations Force Job Description: ? Advises and monitors an intelligence planning team and ensures space intelligence equities are integrated into strategic and operational-level military planning and / or execution. ? Provides status updates to USSPACECOM J2 and staff on JIP activities. ? Provides intelligence support to campaign, contingency, and crisis planning, due to multiple years of experience on CCMD J2 (Intelligence) staff. ? Documents intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls and develops mitigation strategies. ? Integrates intelligence products and services supporting the JPP. ? Synchronizes intelligence cycle supporting collection, analysis, production, and targeting in the JPP. ? Assists with red teaming and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process. ? Provides leadership while establishing intelligence planning enterprise in a newly formed military organizations with space missions, roles, and functions. ? Facilitates coordination of space intelligence with interagency, intelligence community, and partner nations. Required: ? At least 18 years of experience related to this labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. 20 years of experience is preferred. ? Master's degree in an area related to this labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or a Bachelor's degree related to this labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 4 years of related senior experience, for a total of 20 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree. ? Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of intelligence planning activities required to meet mission requirements. ? Demonstrates working knowledge of the concepts involved for a Joint Intelligence Planner. ? Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for an Intelligence Planner. ? Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymaker (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher). ? Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced. ? Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines. ? Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. ? Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence. ? Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. ? Possesses knowledge of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures. ? Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information. ? Demonstrates ability to produce timely, logical, and concise reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats. ? Demonstrates ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with strong grammar skills. ? Demonstrates ability to develop structured research including, but not limited to, obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols. ? Demonstrates ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information. Desired: ? Previous experience at as a Joint Intelligence Planner a Combatant Command, Joint Professional Military Education (Phase II) completion, and Joint Intelligence Planner Course (Phase I) completion are highly desired. Clearance : must currently possess a TS/SCI; a polygraph may be required to be obtained after start date. Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: ? At least 18 years of experience related to this labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. 20 years of experience is preferred. ?
