Shipping & Receiving Associate (Lab)

Objective Under General Supervision, performs tasks that support the receipt, scheduling, fabrication and shipping of Cerinate Studio dental products and materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Read, interpret, and understand Doctor's prescription forms, Doctor's preferences, and evaluator notes on the work ticket. Ask questions as needed to complete the case to the client's specifications. 2. Follow case production schedule to maintain on-time case completion per the work ticket finish date and Doctor's due date. 3. Unpack and examine incoming cases verifying via RX whether case is return, credit or for fabrication. 4. Adhere to cycle times established for each shipping & receiving process. 5. Compare identifying information and count items to verify information against packing list; noting any shortage or damage. 6. Prepare shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner. 7. Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures. Affix shipping labels on packed cases. Ensure outgoing shipments meet shipping and time frame specifications. 8. Enter package information in Federal Express, On-Trac, or UPS systems ensuring RX, packing slip and custom forms if applicable are completed and included. 9. Check stock inventory at a minimum of 3 times per week; forward request for stock replenishment to Supervisor. 10. Send shipping documents to appropriate shipping companies 11. Demonstrate good work ethics and professionalism at all times. 12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ISO and safety.Required SkillsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of FDA GMP's Knowledge of medical device manufacturing or a related field. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with employees of various disciplines within various departments and all other internal and external contacts. Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed and accurately perform detail oriented work. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills. Ability to follow through and resolve order issues. Ability to maintain accuracy, consistency and quality in a fast-paced, multi-task environment Ability to coordinate and synchronize multiple projects Ability to function in a controlled environment and regulated by FDA GMPs and handle restricted, confidential, private, or personal information Ability to us learn various office equipment such as computer, printer, copier, fax, and phone.
